Silje Lervik Aarflot started dancing when she was ten at the public dance school in Norway. This last year she sung head vocals in a musical cabaret, that was staged in her rural district in her native Norway. She participated in and qualified for the final of an annual Norwegian performing arts competition for four years running. She has a degree in music from the Volda Vidaregåande college in Norway. She played leading roles throughout college including Beatrice in Moulin Rouge. Silje went on to train in musical theatre at Romerike Folkehøgskule in Oslo. Among other lead roles she played there, she played Miss Bell, the dance teacher, in Fame. Silje choreographed the dance sequences in this production of Turkish Delight.
